The energy and utilities sector is one of the key industrial sectors for any human activity. Energy can be generated from multiple sources (combustion, nuclear, geothermal, hydro-electrical, renewable, wind, etc.) and each of these requires the application of industrial processes that even require the treatment of special chemicals created in so-called utilities.

In this sector, some of Cear’s applications include:

• Sea water treatment systems (on-shore and off-shore)
• Chlorine production plants
• Load shedding plants
• Electrical distribution plants and renewable energy power and control plants (solar, biomass, SUR)
